Ingredients
  

For the Pumpkin Spice Base:

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Latte:

  • 1 cup milk any kind—dairy or plant-based
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Extra pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Warm the Pumpkin Mixture

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the pumpkin purée, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until fragrant.

Step 2: Add Vanilla and Milk

  • Whisk in the vanilla extract and pour in the milk. Stir and heat until warm, but do not boil. Froth if desired.

Step 3: Brew the Coffee or Espresso

  • Prepare ½ cup strong coffee or 2 shots of espresso while the milk heats.

Step 4: Combine and Serve

  • Divide the coffee between two mugs. Pour the pumpkin milk mixture over the coffee. Stir gently, top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin spice.

Notes

Use plant-based milk and skip the whipped cream for a vegan version.
Make the pumpkin base in advance and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
Customize sweetness with maple syrup or sugar substitutes.
