Ingredients
  

For the Lassi

  • 2 ripe mangoes peeled and diced
  • 2 cups plain yogurt 500 g
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk 240 ml, for a dairy-free option
  • 2-4 tablespoons sugar or honey to taste
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Ice cubes optional

Prepare the Mangoes

  • Start by selecting ripe mangoes; the flesh should give slightly when pressed. Peel and dice them, then add them to your blender.
  • Tip: The best mangoes for lassi are the sweet varieties like Haden or Alphonso.

Blend the Ingredients

  • Add the yogurt, milk, sugar or honey, and ground cardamom to the blender with the mangoes. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Tip: Adjust the sweetness by tasting, adding more sugar if necessary.

Serve Chilled

  • Pour the Mango Lassi into serving glasses over ice cubes if you prefer it extra cold. Garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom or a wedge of mango on the rim.
